Mónica Frederico, Msc

Mónica Frederico holds a Master in Rural Development (2009) and an honours degree in Geography (2002) from Eduardo Mondlane University. Currently, she is a PhD student at Ghent University, Faculty of Medicine and Health Science. Her areas of research interest are adolescents, youth and development, reproductive health and rural development. Mónica has experience in quantitative data collation and analysis. Mónica has been publishing papers on topics related to sexual and reproductive health of young women. Recently, Mónica joined a group of consultants to develop a Study on Mid-term Rapid Assessment on Hygiene Behaviour Change Campaign in response to COVID19; Political Economic Analysis in Sector of WASH. Currently she is assistant researcher at Centre for African Studies (from 2010), after having worked as a teacher in secondary school (1989-2009).
